1. Before directly applying the mop on the floor, it is important to prevent your floor from becoming sticky by gentle sweeping or vacuuming. Do the sweeping with a sponge dipping in our natural floor cleaner solution.
2. Fill a bucket with hot water, which cleans quicker than cold or warm water. Add our liquid for floor cleaning to the wash bucket. Importantly, avoid the temptation to double up the amount of liquid to increase the cleaning effectiveness.
3. Next, proceed with dipping your mop in the bucket and wring it out with a wringer or by your hand. The mop should be damp, not sopping wet. Avoiding too much water dripping from the mop can help you in preventing damage on a floor and dramatically extends the drying time.
4. Start mopping the floor from one end by moving backwards. Thereby you will be standing on an unmopped area to prevent tracking. Use straight-line angles if you have a sponge mop. With a rag mop, follow a figure-8 motion to use the design of your mop most effectively.
5. After scrubbing each small area on the floor, start rinsing your mop thoroughly in the water bucket. Sink the mop up and down a few times, then wring out to remove as much dirty water from the mop head as possible.
6. You can mop over the entire floor a final time using a little solution of our natural floor cleaner but fresh hot rinse water. If your rinse water gets at all dirty or sudsy, you will know the final rinse has been necessary.
